BS Travel Management students of the College of Tourism and Hospitality Management won awards in the 30th Philippine Travel Mart (PTM), with the theme, βFostering Sustainable and Inclusive Tourism,β organized by the Philippine Tour Operators Association (PHILTOA). The event was held from August 30 β September 1, 2019 at the SMX Convention Center Manila, Mall of Asia Complex Pasay City.
For the 11th Philippine Tourism Quiz Bee Finals, Ms. Tiffany B. Montances won 1st runner-up, while Mr Jeremy Aldrich Sia Pua was a finalist. They were trained by Mr. Ernest Gatinga, a Tourism Management alumnus of the College with the faculty coaches, Mr. Jame Monren Mercado and Mr. Avi Ben Andalecio.
All of the participants were supported by Tourism Management Chair Asst. Prof. Jane G. Devanadera, and Dean Atty. Gezzez Giezi G. Granado, DCL.
PTMβs aim is to promote and develop domestic and inbound tourism as the event showcases the best attractions and tourism offerings of the Philippines.
