On December 9, 2024 (Monday), the Commission on Higher Education publicly presented the members of its various technical panels at Luxent Hotel, Quezon City. The technical panels, according to the Commission on Higher Education, are composed of “individuals highly recognized in their fields of expertise tasked with the formulation of a roadmap for the development of disciplinal and degree programs; review, revision, and updating of policies, standards, and guidelines based on the policy direction set by the Commission and consistent with local, regional, and international needs and industry trends.â€

On July 30, 2019, the , through its Kalinga RS program, paved the way for kids with special needs in Negros to effectively engage in everyday occupations of Activities of Daily Living (ADL), play, and education. A total of 41 families, 113 elementary school teachers, and 93 special education teachers benefited from the program.

This convergence was made possible with the OT faculty and alumni, THINK, Inc. and Autism Society Philippines- Bacolod Chapter. Project coordinators included Chair Asst. Prof. Kathlene Anne Hernandez, MHPEd, faculty member Charles T. Bermejo, MSOT, and BSc Occupational Therapy 2005 graduate Claire Uy-Yulo.
